I love this guitar have a KLINE CUSTOM DUAL 10 PEDAL STEEL GUITAR with a broken connector piece. It's the piece that connects the Hex cross shaft with the pedal rod. I could have had it welded I think, but have misplaced it. I would really like to get that pedal going again.

Bobby, exasperated, says, "I can still cut you" and goes off stage and returns with a bolt-cutter and proceeds to cut through all the pedal rods. Jeff is still undisturbed. Bobby says, "I can still cut you," and goes off-stage-- returning with a running chain saw-- and proceeds to cut the Kline in half. "

The funny part, to me was that half the audience laughed and the other half sat stunned... "He cut Jeff's guitar in half!" It was a great little play!

Here is a Kline I picked up from Greg Simmons a while back… D-10 lacquer in Martian green. Joe Kline added a couple of levers to this one making it 8 &7

Damir, there are certainly are many fine Klines here. I am still partial to Mr. Meese's blue lacquer.

This black formica belonged to Howard Palmer who sold it as an S-12. The photos were Howard's. It is now a 7 & 7 U-12 thanks to the work of Paul Redmond.

Howard fitted a sax case for it which is perfect but the two together still did not morph into a lightweight.

Mystery solved. With a little research and Luck, I found the name of the steel player. It is Rick Troyer. I saw a post by Rick in the Events section of the Forum about the Ohio show. I knew it had to be him. So, ask. Rick does a really great job on the show. The tone of his Kline and that little evans amp are to die for. You should go watch some of the shows on youtube. Two songs that stood out to me where, " your cheating Heart" and "Walking the floor over you", with the Great Jack Green. Rick plays both sides of the tuning.

Late to the party. This is a 1980, the 64th Kline built by Joe. 6 &7. Fresh from the workshop of Paul Redmond, who gave her a clean bill of health & set up in a conventional Uni copedant.

Hey Pete, that looks exactly like the one in my avatar. I think I sold it 5-6 years ago to young girl (actually brokered through Rick Troyer at Hummingbird music in Ohio). I think I have the serial number somewhere,,,I'll have to look for it. The guitar was literally like new,,,not a scratch or mark anywhere. Wish I'd kept it,,,but then I wish I'd kept all of them. I really think the mica guitars (Joe agrees) have a better tone than the lacquer guitars. But I'm very happy with this old lacquer guitar of Jeff's. Proud of it's historical past,,,,LOL.

Just looking back through the post and the serial numbers on my guitars are:

Black 3993 the 39th made
Orange 4053 the 108th made
Red 4095 the 141st made 2nd December 2006

And if 4095 was the last guitar made, only 141 guitars were made in total!
