I bought my S10 bolt-on from Billy Cooper. It is a great guitar and was a super deal. I wouldn't hesitate one second to do business with Billy Cooper Music again. And yes, Wanda is super nice and very much a part of the business.

The Coopers are terrific people. I'm so glad their shop is an easy drive of only an hour and forty-five minutes from where I live. So far I've purchased four great steels from them and many items of related equipment. I still have two of the steels and most of the other items I bought from them.

Digging up an old thread but… I just bought a new steel from Billy and Wanda. Its not just that they’re trustworthy, it’s that that you should do business with them because they are wonderful people earnestly running what is certainly the best stocked wholesome steel guitar retail business in the world.

I was calling to see what they had in their showroom, I couldn’t believe they had exactly the guitar I wanted. I put in the order and Billy installed an additional lever got it packed up to ship the same day.

Billy and Wanda Cooper are great people. Billy has
added pedals to my steel and other repairs. Does
great work. Besides being a super nice guy, he is
also, a great steeler. Can't go wrong, dealing with
Billy.

Billy and Wanda are fantastic folks.
Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous; praise is meet for the upright. Give praise to the Lord with the harp, chant unto Him with the ten-stringed psaltery. Sing unto Him a new song, chant well unto Him with jubilation. For the word of the Lord is true, and all His works are in faithfulness. The Lord loveth mercy and judgement; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.

Billy Steel Guitar Shop is a nice shop to visit. Billy and Wanda are nice people.
I have been to the shop several times. He has always had several new and used steel guitars, Set up and tuned, To sit down, And take for a ride.

Billy and I talk some shop, About work on the undercarriages of steel guitars, And parts for out of date guitars. Billy has small machine shop and makes parts for older steels, That are not available.

The last time I was there, He took me back in the shop and showed me his newest equipment addition. He has a hydraulic/over electric (Dog Groomers) table. Lower to put the guitar on the table or cradle, Then just step on a button, To raise or lower the guitar, To a comfortable height to work on. From body to pedal bar.
