Brings to mind the time I was working with the Tater in Hawaii. We played a Rodeo on a flat bed trailer in the middle of the arena. The show was going good until one of those famous little Hawaiian rain sqalls showed up and drenched us. Jimmy's Nudie suit would have fit a two year old and I spent all that night and half the next day with my Fender 1000 apart, getting it cleaned and oiled. We sure had fun though.

About twice a year my band plays inside a huge barn here in Maryland with lots of food, brew, desserts and gigantic barn spiders crawling across the carpet, which is our make shift stage. Our female vocalist does a good job at ignoring those multi legged creatures, I can feel her anxiety. Good thang they don't jump, I'd have to pull out my Sig!

Played my first barn dance with Louise Rowe a few years back. It was June and we were freezing. This was in OK just over the TX line. Anyhoo, everyone drank cold beer and huddled around the propane heaters. On the drive home we were almost run over by a guy who ended up "wheels up" a few miles down the road from us. Don't know if he lived or died. Yep, I'll never forget my first, and so far only, barn dance!
