No body has mentioned Hank Thompson's great hit "Six Pack To Go" or Faron Young's "Wine Me Up."

Although Moe Bandy had a hit w/ "Here I Am,I'm Drunk Again",I have, what I believe to be,the first commercially released version, by Lattie Moore.

I remember a great song by Jim Ed Brown that had the line, "Put a nipple on my bottle, bartender". Always loved that one. Probably was never a hit. Most of my favorite songs were filler tunes on the albums.

Another Gary Stewart tune is Whiskey Trip. Also don't forget What Made Milwaukee Famous. A good Johnny Bush tune is Green Snakes On The Ceiling, how about Barstool Mountain, Colorado Cool-Aid, Asleep At The Wheel had The Letter That Johnny Walker Read,
Wine Friend Of Mine.
I'll have to think on this and come back later.

"I'm Gonna Build Me A Bar In the Back Of My Car And Drive Myself To Drink".

Nobody got around to writing that song..but I think is was Lefty that ended one with it.

Jones.."You're Still On My Mind" and "Just One More".

Steve Hinson played lead guitar for ol George for I think about six years. Best one he had. He's a string benden son of a gun. No B String Bender, just his fingers.

Steve, did George ever do any of those old songs when you played with him?

Also no one mentioned my all time favorite drinking song, "I'll Drink To That" by Billy Parker. I always like the line, "I'll drink to that, but then I'll drink to anything." Too bad he never really made it to super stardom. Any one know if he is still a DJ" Thanks
