Now if only Tim Magraw would do a show with AK and U.S. Maybe it would be easy to spot if he has any real talent. Shania showed me and many last night why she gets the big bucks. I really enjoyed every minute of it and it was free..That is a lot to say for a die hard country bumpkin as meself.I may not be her biggest fan,or run out and buy her stuff ,however I enjoyed the show.(and it was free)

I don't think that Alison Krauss and Union Station need Shania to boost their careers. It boosted Allison's career no doubt
Alison has put out a dozen albums with two going RIAA certified Double Platinum and three of them RIAA certified Gold.
She has the second most Grammy's of any female artist ever(she has 14 and Aretha Franklin has 15).She is not only a singer but a sesion musician and a producer. In '93 she became the youngest member of the Grand Ol' Opry. Between Alison and the other members of Union Station they have more Grammy's(over 30) and have played on more No.1, gold and Platinum albums than any band working today.
Alison also has more CMA awards than Shania.
I think this show was more to help Shania's career catch up with Alison's.
[This message was edited by Alvin Blaine on 30 November 2003 at 11:43 PM.]
