I can't for the life of me figure out why people watch this, or any award show if they don't enjoy it.
The job of any award show is to take a year's worth of bald commercialism and boil it down into one orgiastic splat. You took time out of your life to watch that ? That's an hour of your life you'll never get back, man.
Maybe I should just be quiet, 'cause I didn't watch it - haven't watched an award show in years. I think I was on a gig.
I think it was Johnny Cash that proposed the solution to all your problems. Blow up yer T.V.
-John
p.s. If you watched it, and enjoyed it, well, more power to ya.

I looked into in, and sure enough, I was on a gig.
Playing to an empty house, I might add. Now I know why. Everyone wuz sitting at home, throwing nerf bricks at their T.V.
James, don't complain, at least there were a few people at your gig.

To be fair,

Jack Sparks does a lot for country music around these parts. He gives a lot of local alternative and "real" country bands airtime and press. I doubt he makes a penny off of it.

Check out the playlists for his radio show, too bad it's only once a week.
