Ha Ha, that's just what my father-in-law said - he has a Masters Degree in Journalism with emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations.About Mr. Sparks Right or wrong,he is doing to journalism what the music industry is doing to country music.Any thing goes,he will say any thing to make a buck.

I can't for the life of me figure out why people watch this, or any award show if they don't enjoy it.
The job of any award show is to take a year's worth of bald commercialism and boil it down into one orgiastic splat. You took time out of your life to watch that ? That's an hour of your life you'll never get back, man.
Maybe I should just be quiet, 'cause I didn't watch it - haven't watched an award show in years. I think I was on a gig.
I think it was Johnny Cash that proposed the solution to all your problems. Blow up yer T.V.

p.s. If you watched it, and enjoyed it, well, more power to ya.

I looked into in, and sure enough, I was on a gig.
Playing to an empty house, I might add. Now I know why. Everyone wuz sitting at home, throwing nerf bricks at their T.V.
James, don't complain, at least there were a few people at your gig.

To be fair,
Jack Sparks does a lot for country music around these parts. He gives a lot of local alternative and "real" country bands airtime and press. I doubt he makes a penny off of it.

Check out the playlists for his radio show, too bad it's only once a week.
