In the mid'70s I got to hear Tashi with Peter Serkin on piano do the Quartet. After the last note died out, the audience sat stunned for a good 45 seconds before the applause started. For me it reinforced how powerful music really is and it's not limited to classical music.<SMALL>and if Quatuor pour la Fin du Temps doesn't get them remember</SMALL>
