Mitch D.,

Are you aware that Jimmy's "given"
name in reality is, (Ivy James Bryant") ? Perhaps some of the elders, who may still be enjoying hoedowns in his hometown, in Moultrie, Georgia, could give accounts of "Jimmy"; never heard before. I think his association with "Russell "Lucky" Hayden" would be a good starting point, in getting to the bottom of how oversights come about. If this fails to explain away the lack of credits, take a long hard look at the deficiencies on record labels. I'll pick one in advance, by naming "Little Roy Wiggins". To say that those "promo" packages should be rewritten, is an understatement, in the name of public awareness. Another example to ponder, would be that of Vernon Dalhart. He is by far, one of the early artists, to provide a reader with the realization of where Country Music found its roots. His given name:
("Marion Try Slaughter") Vernon used over 100 pseudonyms during his recording career! If that doesn't quake your boots, it's time to ask someone, "Is this for real"? I'm a truth seeker, and nothing else will suffice in its place. Anything less, is the equivalent of flotsam.
