Here's what I don't understand about this thread:

1. Tim played bars like you guy's right?

2. To get someone to invest in your act, it's gotta be working out great in the clubs first right?

3. There's no post production on the sound there?

4. Tim can have a bad night like evryone else, cause he was a club musician like evryone else? Heck, stars gotta really have a strain on their energy if they stay busy, and Tim has young kids now?

5. I own a couple of Tim's albums. I play two of his songs (She'll have you back, I like it I love it). "She'll have you back" is as cowboy as it get's, if you think that sucks, thar's something wrong with ya then, I'm sorry but it don't make no sense at all?

6. I wish I could sing half as good as Tim can! What a range!

Confusuous....( or someone like that) says

Man who going bald at front is thinker
Man who going bald at back is sexy.

Man who going bald at front and back only thinks he`s sexy !!!!!!!!!

Guess that makes me super sexy....I think !!!

All right, you all have piqued my curiosity, and so I have decided to check out this Tim McGraw character, who arouses such intense passion in the membership of this august body. I see a plethora of Tim McGraw songs on WinMx. Which ones would you all recommend as uncommonly suckulent?

OK, I managed to download about half a minute of something called "Where The Green Grass Grows", and I listened to it, and it sucks.

I got the whole song, and it sucks all the way thru.

Now I started to download another song, called "Don't Take The Girl" and so far, it sucks.

Will this stuff damage my hard disk?

"Don't Take The Girl" sucks even worse than the other one.
Is this what they call "new country"? Maybe all you old dinosaurs are right. This stuff sucks.
Didn't the Supreme Court rule that it has to have some redeeming social value?

That's right Earnest, Evrybody who puts out records has a good song here and there and the rest are filler alot of the time any more. Since we only need 48 songs for a bar gig, I'm not too concerned that out of 2 CD's by Tim, I only like and play 1 song out of each CD. Those 2 songs are fun songs and go over great. Your question about "Is this what new country is?" duh! It all sounds country to me, but I ain't above busking on the street either.
[This message was edited by Jesse Pearson on 22 November 2003 at 01:43 PM.]

Earnest,
Possibly one of the greatest musical achievments by Tim McGraw would be a tune called "Indian Outlaw". That one really speaks for a whole generation.

I didn't know it was physically possible, but I think he sucks and blows at the same time. I am of the opinion that he's a mediocre singer singing mediocre material.

10 years from now, when gay techno country, is taking over, and the No.1 song is "He Stopped Loving Him Today," you all will think Tim McGraw was the 'Bomb." Image
