Steel with a chamber ensemble
Hey there
I made a record with a new ensemble of mine called Dt/IG.
I thought some of you might enjoy hearing hearing the pedal steel in the context of a chamber group.
It's here on band camp

For those of you who use streaming places you can find it here

Thank you!

Tablature KILLS SKILLS.
The uses of Tablature is addictive and has been linked to reduced musical fertility.
Those who produce Tablature did never use it.
I say it humorously, but I mean it.

Thanks all,
James to answer your question, The parts we improvised. We played live as a full band and I played guitar, Then did a few overdubs on steel.
Track 1 was Dan Kalisher on steel playing live with us.
My setup is a '75 Push Pull. Emmons setup up. into a Princeton reverb, with an empress tape delay pedal.
have a good day!
