Yup, 3:00 to 9:00 pm for the show.

Due to some last minute cancellations We still have a couple of slots open for players - any steel players coming to Massachusetts or Rhode Island that weekend? Reply here or PM me.

Get well soon Karen and Richie, we're thinking about you.

Yes, get well soon. Was hoping to hear Karen S. this year, I keep missing her performance, next time maybe ?
Enjoyed Richie's performance last year, hope you and Karen are on the mend and look forward to hearing both of you sometime in the future.

The players schedule is now posted on the RISGA Facebook site. Please check it out and let me know if you have any questions. I'll send an email to players with further instructions on logistics. Ronny will be the Stage Manager.

Great news - Richie is feeling up to doing a set so he's back on the schedule!

Wow! What a lineup of super pickers. I have not heard Bill Holbrook for some time. He was a monster back then. Now we can look forward to his wife singing/putting "frosting on the cake".

Just bumping up. I will be bringing a nice black sports jacket that was left at the Tiverton VFW after last year`s steel show. Hopefully the owner will return.

Hi Harry, I did find two twenty dollar bills near the stage. It turned out they were counterfeit, so I threw them away.

What a great show!

I want to thank all of the players who took the time to prepare and entertain us all day on Saturday. Freddie Krause, Chuck Rodrigues, Richie Chaisson, Tony Palmer, Manny Escobar, Bill Holbrook, Chris Brooks, Roger Trahan and Harry Teachman. You were all great. And thanks to Ann Holbrook and Joanne Svendsen for the fabulous vocals.

Also thanks to our wonderful backup band who worked all day keeping up with all the crazy charts. Elaine Ellis, Deane Sampson and JD Foster.

Special thanks to Ronny Cote our stage manager for keeping things on time and running smoothly, and Jo Vierra for working the door and prizes.

If you have photos or videos of the players please post them here or on the RISGA Facebook page. Or send them to me.

Steel Jam #2 with the masters. I've never heard of a steel jam on Pedal Patter or Apple Jack - but these guys did!

I agree, It was a fantastic show highlighted by Harry Teachman and Roger Trahan,s duet playing "Pedal Patter". In addition to RISGA`s current president Jim Rice, we were blessed to have ALL past presidents Sam White, Tony Palmer, Roger Trahan, and Marcia Rodrigues in attendance. The high energy bunny Elaine Ellis played six hours with a 2 song break from Chris Brooks.

Thanks for the updates and pictures, nice to see you guys keeping the tradition going. Manny and Roger are worth the price of admission alone. hope to see you both in Norwalk in November!
