Great photo of the obscure blues steel guitar legend in this fascinating article about the controversial Mack McCormick:

Alas, they misidentify Wilson as a "slide guitarist." Most photos show him behind a D-8 Gibson console.

"Chicken Stuff" was my favorite tune of his. Hop use to play a Stringmaster laying on a folding card table which also held his cigarettes, ashtray, a glass and a bottle of hootch.
