Thiel Hatt
Some of you may know Thiel Hatt. He was a great steel player. He passed away this past week.

Thiel will surely be missed. He played in the same band as my dad for many years here in TN before they moved back to Utah. He was a great player and seemed to know how to fix about anything mechanical. He was fun to be around and always saying the funniest things. A year or so before he passed, he sold his main guitar a beautiful Zum to another of his former bandmates here in TN and a friend of our family. I don't think he really plays much steel, but he wanted to bring it home because of how much he cared for Thiel.
Thanks,
Brandon

Re: Thiel Hatt
So sad to hear about Thiel, such a nice person. He sold me his Dekley Universal 12 and sent me follow up info which was so nice of him and to top that off he asked me if I could use a capo for it. I hadn't seen one before, he said he would send it to me at no charge and he did. I wish I could have met him, he did tell me that he was building the beautiful resonator instrument. R.I.P. my friend, Thiel Hatt!
