Sacred Steel on Morning Edition

There will be a segment about the House of God African-American sacred steel guitar tradition on National Public Radio's "Morning Edition" news show Wednesday 4/5/00. I don't know the exact broadcast time for the segment or the length of it, but it will include an interview with Chuck Campbell as well as some music. I'm working tonight to get NPR some recorded music from the Saturday night concert at the Sacred Steel Convention, which was held last weekend in Orlando.

If I get any more details, I'll post them. Stay tuned!

The sacred steel piece was not broadcast this morning, but will definitely be broadcast soon. I'll post the date when I get it.
