I've just downloaded 10 rough mixes of some songs my wife and I recorded. How would I go about linking them to a post on the Forum. I have them on Real Player so far.........JH in Va.

You can convert them to mp3 format then upload them to a server like this one which will provide you with a link that you will add to your post. Click Here

Jerry:

There are numerous free programs that will do that.

I use Switch. It's free and works on 20 or so different formats.

Try to use a high bitrate when you configure it---say at least 150 kbps. Joint Stereo is a good choice. Variable bit rate is another good choice.

A high quality 3 minute mp3 is maybe 4 MB in size and can be emailed. You can knock that down to under 1 MB, but the sound quality will be NG.

Jerry, files can be converted to many formats in iTunes, available for Mac and PC.

Btw, are you coming to SoCal soon?
