Jumping cursor

Post by Dale Gray »

Cursor just starting to jump to the top of screen. Using MS wireless mouse. Tried new batteries. Has optical trackball. Tried different pads. Nothing works. Running virus scan.

If this is a USB mouse system, unplug it, then plug it back into the computer. If no happy happy, reboot the computer. If still no happy happy, feed mouse to cat and buy new mouse.

Is it possible you updated the mouse driver just before this happened? if so, roll back to the previous driver.

Don't recall new mouse update, tried restore to previous date, that may have helped. Mixed mouse with cats Friskies now cat has been in cat box for several hours and wont come out. May have to hit delete button on cat. Hope C.D. doesn't see this. DYKBC
