It brings me great sorrow to announce the passing of a true gentleman and a great steel guitarist. Les played for many bands in the Duluth,MN. and Carlton,MN. and on the range with his latter years with Country Junction.Rest in peace my friend you will be greatly missed. Mike

I just received a call from Glenn Boppre informing me about Les' passing. He will be missed by many.

He was truly a great steel player and wonderful man.

RIP my friend.
