I hope you're watching but let me throw this out to everyone.
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium. I just downloaded the most recent version of iTunes because I just bought a 16GB iPod Nano. When I plug it into the USB port to get set up I get the following message:
"An iPod has been detected but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPod, then try again."
A McAfee window will also come up and say it's detected an unknown media device but will only let me scan (or not).
Somehow my iPod icons are in Polish so it's even more frustrating... is there a simple fix?
Thanks, FF.

Did you accidentally download the Polish version of iTunes? Uninstall it and reboot. Then download the current English version. Install it, reboot and try your iPod again.
