Adobe Flash Plyer 11.0 Compatible With Mac Osx Lion 10.7 ?
I finally got a new IMac after 8 years on the G4 and wanted to install Adobe Flashplayer 11.0 for my Mac OSX Lion 10.7 system but read there were problems with the Flashplayer. Does anyone have any experience here who might comment, please? If there have been problems, what other player might I be able to use rather than the Adobe?
Many thanks, stevet

Apple does not commission the use of Adobe Flash on the Lion OS. You are going to have to perform a fully manual install if you want to have Adobe Flash Player on OS X Lion. Read this article about a new Mac Trojan using a fake Flash Player installer.

Go to Adobe's Flash Player webpage and download the installer. Run that installer and you'll have the latest version of the Flash Player on your iMac.
Just because Apple doesn't provide a copy of the Flash Player by default with OS X 10.7 (Lion) doesn't mean that it isn't supported and working fine under Lion.
Here's a blog post by Adobe regarding previous incorrect assertions of problems with the Flash Player under OS X.

There is a war of words and technology between Apple and Adobe. This isn't over yet.
