Forrest Lee Sr. Tribute

Post by Damir Besic »

Forrest Lee Jr, Albert Lee, Johnny Hiland, Jay Dee Maness, Lonnie Wilson, Jeff Allan. This song isn't finished yet, but its my dads birthday/fathers day on the 19th. He passed away last year, but he touched so many musicians throughout his life, and we're all honering him by recordings a tribute to him of all his gospel songs. Johnny is playing the acoustic solos. Albert is using his bender tele. I'm playin the twangy lead pickup, and you can hear the rest.

What a great song and great players! Pardon my ignorance, but was your father in some ways connected to Fender guitars, or was that another person with the same name?
Thanks.

Joachim,
Are you thinking of Forrest White? (fender)
Great song! Except for the guitar being out of tune at the last chord, how much more done could this song be. Ron
