Wentzville, Mo. singer and supporter of steel guitar Carroll "Wimp" Daly passed away this evening at approximatly 9:30 pm of an apparent heat attack. Wimp and his brothers, Charlie and Larry worked as The Daly Brothers for decades in the central Mo., southern Il. regions. Wimp was very special to so many and especially to Joan and myself. Arrangements will be posted as known. Please keep the Daly family and friends in your prayers.
Services for Wimp are as follows.
Visitation Saturday 7/14 from 3:00 - 8:00 pm
Celebration of life service will be Sunday 7/15 @ 12:00 pm

Johnny just chated with Whimp a few days ago on facebook. He talked like he was doing better and would be back at the Tattooed Lady soon. Was really surprised to hear of his passing. RIP Whimp.
