Fiddle, Guitar Harmonizer demo on Facebook Nederland, TX

Post by Doug Childress »

Hey for all you fiddle players and other musicians who have thought about using a harmonizer for your instrument, check out a demo by a friend of mine who is showing his invention tonight on Facebook. He uses it for fiddle and mandolin but it is adaptable for other instruments as well. The reproduction is a real sound. He will explain the device and how he uses it. Watch his facebook page at 7PM CDT tonight for a live broadcast of the demonstration. His name is David Varnado and he has been a professional musician for years. He was recently nominated for the ACM Fiddle Player of the Year Award, the American Fiddle Players Legend Award, The Johnny Gimble Award, and Texas CMA Fiddle Player of the Year Award. I have been playing steel beside this guy for awhile now and can personally attest to the quality he gets for single, twin, and three fiddle arrangements. Check it out 7PM CDT David Varnado on Facebook. David works between Texas and Nashville and has a residence at both locations. David is available for gigs and studio work. If you would like to contact him personally his phone is 409-344-1821.

David Varnado's Harmonizer

Post by Dale Foreman »

To add to Doug's post above, I've heard David's invention first hand and I can tell you it is simply amazing and brilliant. This thing will work on just about any instrument including steel guitar! I think it could also help those of us that play fretless instruments to practice playing in key as we all know that if you play harmonies and the instruments are out of tune or fingering is slightly off, you will be able to tell instantly!! I know David spent a lot of time in the studio making real fiddle parts to develop this machine so the harmonies are real fiddle parts!!!! Please tune in at 7 PM and watch David's presentation!! I think it would be worth your while to witness this amazing machine.
Thanks
Dale

Unfortunately, I can't watch at that time. Will it be recorded and archived for later viewing, I hope?
