Hey folks I would like to know if you can take regular guitar tabs and just play them on a lap steel? I can't find any tabs for a lap steel.

there are lots of tabs for G tuning (which is what you said you were using in another post). Look up Dobro tabs. You would not be able to take regular guitar tab and use it without a major bit of transcribing.
