Monthly Steel Guitar Jams at Catfish Johnny's

Post by Jack Stoner »

I'm projecting having the jams starting the 2nd Wednesday in November 2019 (Nov 13) and the second Wednesday of each month through April 2020.

Location and time same as its always been.
Catfish Johnny's Restaurant, CR470 Lake Panasoffkee, Fl.
Time: 5:00 PM to 8 PM (we have to be out by 8:30).

We used to start in September but not many steelers in September or October so the reason to start in November.

EDIT: Updated start time to 5PM, to accommodate the restaurant.

I plan on coming to jam. I know three songs. Out of practice so will probably goof up a little. I will print out chords for people who don't know the songs and want to jam on them (if thats allowed). Otherwise the songs are ultra short.
I am bringing a Polytone amp to play and will sell if anyone is interested for about 300. I believe this amp was liked by jazz guitarists and Accordion players. No reverb. But most "reverb" people use their own reverb pedal anyway.
