Benefit for Mark Abbott, Nov. 15, Santo Tx.

The Texas Steel Guitar Association and the Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church will be hosting a benefit for Mark Abbott and his family on November 15 at the Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church from 6 p.m. til midnight. This will be an evening of great music and dancing. The entertainment will be provided by Jody Nix and his band, the Marty Haggard show, Chuck Cusimano, Johnny Johnson, The Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church Band, and many more special guests.

There will be an auction with some terrific items up for bid, as well as, CD’s and such for sale. All proceeds will go directly to Mark to help with his medical expenses.

If you would like to make a donation, please make checks payable to Mark Abbott. Donations can be mailed to or dropped off at the church, or mail to the TSGA, 2500 Henderson St., Cleburne, TX, 76033. Mark is a fabulous musician. Does anyone know what problems he has been having, if it is a health problem I hope he gets better soon.

Mark has been the staff fiddle player at the Texas Show for many years and he played bass guitar as well when needed. Praying for him and hope there is a good turnout for the benefit.

I met Mark at the Phoenix show a few years back. What a nice gentleman he is...I haven't known him long, but I am proud to call him my friend...Prayers big fella!!

There will Also be another Gathering/ Benefit for Mark at Lil Reds Long Horn Saloon in the Fort Worth Stock Yards for Mark Abbott on Sunday Nov 22nd From 1pm-7pm
With Music & Dancing All Day by some of Marks past and present employers .. Also we will Live Stream the whole Day From Mark Abbott’s Facebook Page !! Facebook.com/Mark.abbott.9216 So tune into for that if you cannot make it to the stock yards .
