If you find yourself in the Philly or what we call around these parts, the MAIN LINE, area on Saturday eve, Philly's premier (only??) Western Swing band, Beats Walkin' will be doing a free (but bring some cash for tips!!)show in Wayne, Pa, outside under a tent from 8-10pm. It's called the "Tailgate Tent Series", and you can hang out, order food and/or drinks from local restaurants. No reservations or tickets necessary. Here's a link to the event page:

As you know, Beats Walkin' is Jim Cohen's band, and he'll be there doing his thing. Also, in addition to Takeoff armpit guitar, I'll be doing some songs on my non-pedal steel. It'll be kinda like the sublime to the ridiculous!
Seriously, come on out. Who knows how many more nice outdoor music hang days we have left this year?
