When I first heard Amber Digby singing "Cowboy Lovin Night" I immediately turned up the volume. Then, the steel guitar began to play and I knew I had struck country classic gold. After a quick internet search I found out that the steel player was Dicky Overbey, Amber's step-father and had passed away in 2014. He was one of the best and a legend to those who knew him.I was so inspired that I tabbed out this song so that his legacy could be shared. This is from the YouTube with Amber Digby https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sI9O2ndQnI
This is the way I heard him playing it, comments and corrections are always welcome, this is a fun song to play.
I remember Tanya Tucker recorded back in 1977 if my memory serves me right. She had Weldon Myrick on her version. His chimes were so pretty.I would close my eyes and I would be two-stepping with a pretty blue eyed cowgirl
