Spot- on honky-tonk steel!

Hey Brian! Nailed that one down. Great execution, tone, and taste. Keeping up the "family" tradition into the next generation. You guys check out Brian's web-site. Lots of interesting and useful info including Jeff Newman articles for newbies(and oldies!). Keep it comin'. Regards,RK😎

Hi Brian,
I just have to concur what Rick posted before.
Yes, you've nailed it. Very nice picking and great sound.

Keep on going...

Thanks guys. Rick, that means a lot coming from you, so thank you.

I updated the link in the original post to a newer version of the track that has Whitey Morgan's vocal now replaced with a studio vocal. I'm relaunching my website on an entirely new platform soon and I have many more things in the works including tab for this track.

Very good stuff. Steel was perfect and out front. I really enjoyed listening.

Here's the first four pages of the tab book I'm putting together to go with the rhythm tracks. Many of you will recognize the format here as it is much like what Jeff Newman did with his Woodshed Workshop series. I'm going to do my best to continue in that tradition with new songs and new arrangements. So this is hopefully the first of many.

Here's where the whole book and rhythm tracks will be available soon, free for a while, then $15

Enough talk... here's the tab. This has the full intro and the first 4 verse fills.

And again, here is the link to the track I recorded with all the steel:

For those of you that purchased the tab and tracks before today: I fixed a couple minor transcription errors in the tab (thanks to the keen eye of forum member Ron Funk), so if you'd like an updated PDF, let me know and I'll resend your download links.
