C pedal changer finger hanging up

C pedal changer finger hanging up

What can cause the c pedal changer finger to not return all the way back and hangs up on the finger that lower 4th string ?
This is happening on an old ShoBud LDG S10 .

Possible "broken string end" fell down there(usually the 3rd string breakage) and got wedged in there...been there done that; but without seeing a pic of the changer used(Sho-bud had 5 different changers through the LDG history) or putting my hands on it...I can name 5 to 6 scenarios that is causing 4th string problem.

Good call on the ball end Ricky, thats likely the culprit without knowing what changer is involved.
