E9 & C6 practice-same track

Post by Ron Hogan »

When I practice with a track, I use the same track during practice for both E9 and C6.

Ron,
I often do the same thing. Super good way to understand both necks a bit better.

I think that's good advice Ron ... when I started playing C6th, I stopped playing E9th and played what I would on E9th on C6th ... mind you I'm still not playing Nameless Shuffle on C6th, but playing both necks to the same track would be a great exercise expanding ones knowledge of both necks.

It allows me to switch back and forth on necks on simple country tunes while on stage. Example: crazy arms.
