For all yall that drop your g#(s)

I have my rkl set up to drop my 3rd string a half step. I put this on to cop Mooney licks but over time keep finding new things to do with it. The Mooney licks led me to major and minor third harmonized scales on the third and fourth strings, which leads to cool transitions, but isn’t something that can’t be done with the standard changes. Today I figured out there is an easy six minor harmonized scale using the g# to g change. It starts two frets down from an and b pedals down, so in c the root would be fifth string first fret. Flat the third string and you get a 6m harmony and move the thing up working the lever to keep the harmony note in place. I’m sure someone out this played this before, but it’s new to me. I haven’t found another convenient six minor harmony anyplace else but it’s always a journey.

Also, I sat down to practice again tonight and immediately figured out how to do it with the e flat change. I guess once I got it in my ears it came out.
