Mullen guitar question
Hi - a friend is looking to sell a Mullen guitar - SD10. I’m trying to help with the pricing of the guitar but he doesn't know the year or model (and I don’t see a model name on the front).
Is there a serial number on their guitars (I would assume so) and where would it be located so we can send the company the info to determine year and model. Thanks in advance. Eric
Including a pic here too…

Underneath near the keyhead end next to the endplate stamped in the wood. 4 digit number. Example: 25xx.

Re: Mullen guitar question
When you find the serial number, go to the Mullen website. They have a page with numbers and build dates. If it doesn’t have a model sticker on the front apron, it is what is referred to as a Pre Royal Precision, their original design. If you can post a picture of the under carriage, it can be confirmed.

Re: Mullen guitar question
Eric, this guitar is a pre Royal Precision model. I don't remember the year, but it is a great guitar to restore/refinish and is often sought after. This guitar will play well as is with very minimal tweaking. This may help.
If your serial number is not in these ranges it was more than likely built anywhere from the early 70's to early 80's This would include the rack and barrel models and the guitar named Royal instead of Mullen

Re: Mullen guitar question
Hi Mort, long time no see! Thanks. This was Jim’s guitar. It’s a 1995. Nice guitar and of course in excellent condition. I don’t think it left the house. We’ll be posting it for sale along with an earlier Peavey NV 112 that’s also in excellent condition. EO

Re: Mullen guitar question
Hi! Eric, I knew who's guitar it was when I saw the low boy Dekley volume pedal. That guitar stayed in his music room as did the amp, both owned by a very kind man. Good luck with the sale.
