Smoke Rings In The Dark
What do you all think of this song by Gary Allen?
Have you noticed the nice Leslie effect with the pedal steel guitar?

I agree, great song and feel.
I was working in the same studio complex that Gary tracked his CD in, and got to sit in on one of the sessions. Dan Dugmore played on 5 songs that day, but I'm not sure if "Smokerings" was one of them.
I have not seen it mentioned on the forum, but Dan is recovering from cancer surgery, and I hope everyone would include him in their holiday prayers for a complete remission and recovery.

Hey Mike,
I agree with you. This guy's got a great future if the clown's in charge don't try to change him too much.
John, I was sorry to hear about Dan Dugmore having cancer. I hope he pulls out of it allright. For some of you Forumites who don't recognize the name, he was the guy who played that great steel break on Linda Ronstadt's "Blue Bayou". I don't he had been playing steel too long at the time either. Also he's a great lead player known mostly in the world of LA Rock!
