Finally a Real Country Gig!

Post by Joel Glassman »

Calls to play the real thing are rare here in Massachusetts.
I played a wedding reception party with the Dave Foley Band,
with Eddie Cunningham on non-pedal steel. The amusing thing
is who hired us: Steve Tyler from Aerosmith. Everyone enjoyed
themselves, and we also did a short set of hopped-up hillbilly boogie.
Steve visited with us during a break. A very nice person, and a
memorable afternoon.

Sounds like it was an interesting choice. I have not seen you folks lately in the BR5-49 folder though.

"Folders" are the discussion groups or message boards on America Online. They resemble the Topics (Bar Chatter, No Peddlers, etc) here on Bobby Lee's Forum, but of course there are many more of them (thousands).
