Based on a quick listen, I recommend to hard-core country fans "Hillbilly Heights" by Roger Wallace, on Texas Round-up Records. Marty Muse, who plays with the Derailers also, IINM, plays the steel on this one.

Unfortunently I don't have a good picture from when i saw Roger in January 2000.
However this album was on my top 10 list in 1999 and I put comments on Amazon about it.
Also I noticed on the local Austin gigs that Roger is playing at Joveta's on Wednesday and I wonder if this will be a guest night
or semi permenant gig as Ponty Bone has
quit.
