A lady frind of mine, a pianist, was just diagnosed with breast cancer. Fortunatley they found it in it's early stages when the chances for recovery are greatest.

Everybody, please get yourself checked out as soon as possible. Don't put it off till it's too late.

Believe it or not, it's not just women that can get this. The father of one of my friends got breast cancer too!

Digressing from breast cancer just for a moment to yet another form of the disease....

(I try never to miss a chance to bring this to people's attention.)

Bill; If one considers the alternative, ie: that pathetic little bag they attach to you,
a colonoscopy becomes a ride in the park.

Almost 70 and an annual participant.

Paul,

True! And things are getting easier.... there's a new, far more convenient way to get "emptied out" for the test. See my page, above.

I know another middle-ager (I'm 45) who has been having symptoms which could indicate a very serious lower intestine problem. He's about to undergo the test. He read my page and said it was helpful. I only hope it turns our well for him.

Sorry, b0b, for being Off Topic. Thanks for your patience.
