I saw this group today in the USA Today.

Classical / pop music? Hmmmmm, sounds interesting. Plus, the girls are pretty nice-looking.

Well, after listening to the samples on their website, I can't say I'm impressed. But who knows, maybe somebody here will like it.

Not all string quartets play classical music. I don't hear a whole lot of talent there. I think they found the girls first and then taught them to play a little bit.

Well, b0b, that formula worked years ago for the Monkees! (Not to mention Charley's Angels!)

In one of the video clips they mentioned that they are all classically trained, even with music degrees I believe, and met each other while doing session work. Granted they're not playing at their optimum level, but I doubt that many listeners are listening as much as looking. Image
