Cline's Plane For Sale

LUCY MAHER

Patsy Cline fans can get a little closer to the late country crooner: a pair of Tennessee brothers are selling pieces of the airplane that crashed in 1963, killing the 30-year-old country singer. The brothers plan to sell the belly and tail of the Piper Comanche on eBay on beginning Sept. 1, reports the Associated Press. Eric and Scott Mills, of Jackson, Tenn., say their father paid a family acquaintance $20 for the tail and "an undisclosed amount" for a portion of the belly in 1978. The brothers have started bidding at $50,000. The auction will last 10 days. The landing gear and a clock on the plane are housed at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. Cline's plane crashed while flying through stormy skies March 5, 1963, near Camden, Tenn. Cline, famous for such hits as "Crazy," "Sweet Dreams" and "Walkin' After Midnight," was 30 and at the height of her popularity when she died

Wonder if they have the car Hank Williams died in, too. (Probably...)
Selling "pieces". What next?

Joey, I understand that the vomit in question was returned to the groupie from whence it came. I mean, you don't think Hendrix choked on his own vomit, do you? Image

Additionally, I've always felt that if Mama Cass had given that ham sandwich to Karen Carpenter, they'd BOTH be alive today!

Herb, that's probably the funniest thing I've heard this week!

Do you really think Mama Cass would have given up ANYTHING that looked like food?
