Near the end of my Fender/Fretts days, I went to a Cal Smith show to see who was on steel and perhaps an interview with him.
It was John Hughey and Cal couldn't say enough about him. I don't know who was on the record other than what has been posted here but I do know The Two Of Them Were Dynamite. Then I got tossed out by a security guard. That was hard to take but not the end of the story.
A month or so later, our band was mainlining a local Charity, Proably The Home For Unwed Mothers as I recall those days. The same guard was there and I stood tall and told my Boss, I wasn't playing unless that JERK was ejected.
And that is exactly what happened !!
Regards, Paul
