Janna Jae?

Post by Roger Shackelton »

What ever happened to former Buckaroo, Jana Jae, the lady who played fiddle for Buck Owens in the 1970s? I believe she also appeared on HEE HAW.

I was fortunate to meet Jana in person at a local gig she played here in Everett, in about 1980.

I saw her on the Gary Chapman show on TNN a couple of years ago. Apparently she's still in the music business (or was at the time). That was the first I had seen or heard her since the Hee Haw days.

She now lives in Oklahoma. Occasionally I see her name listed as appearing somewhere or conducting a fiddle clinic. www.genejones.com

Wasn't she married to Buck for a few days?
