About that Justin Trevino CD

Post by Ron Page »

Herb Steiner brought this one up a long time ago, as did Jim Loessberg. Well, I finally got around to buying it...

To reitterate: Great classic country with loads of fantastic steel by Dickey Overbey and Rick Price. The drummer ain't bad either; was hoping to hear more of his steelin'. Image

Why, it's almost too country! Image If you liked "Loud Music and Strong Wine" you'll love this. If you don't have that one then buy 'em both. I think Amazon tends to give a discount when you do that.

It takes me a couple plays sometimes to recall just who had the orignal hits. I'm pretter sure the Singin' Sheriff had one of these -- "Feel Again". Man can these guys ever put it together.

Thanks again for the tip on this new album. Think I'll post a review on Amazon.

Thanks Herb, somehow I knew you would know the answer to that question. Next time you talk to Justin and Dicky tell them "Wow what an Awesome CD, REAL COUNTRY"
Hey everyone on the Forum, this CD is great and a must for anyone that likes real country and real great steel playing Dicky and Rick sound great. The name of the CD is "Justin Trevino, Travelin Singin Man" and as an added extra attraction Johnny Bush does a couple duets on it with Justin.
