Details I received from someone in Nashville

I noticed you mentioned Hillous Butrums passing. I was good friends with Hillous and the visitation will be Monday and Tuesday at Cole Garrett Funeral Home in Goodletsville from 4-8 and the Funeral will be Wednesday at 2. Its so sad to lose guys like Hillous. No doubt a dying breed in this business. What a history he had. An original Drifting Cowboy. He was in the original Hank Snow band and an original in Marty Robbins band. He and Marty opened one of the first publishing companies here in Nashville and of course Hillous was in many Nashville based movies including Music City U.S.A. and Country Boy. While with Hank Snow, they toured with Elvis and Andy Griffith. He wrote songs in the early years also and had cuts on Roy Acuff, Dave Dudley and others. He was also one of the founding members of ROPE. Well, I will quit rambling. Take care.

Bobby Tomberiln

Do you have any confirmation on Gene Moles passing, there seems to be a lot of confusion and as far as everyone I've contacted knows, Gene is unwell but still quite alive. (no direct contact though)
