Artist I found on MP3.com....

Post by Dave Burr »

Well... I was bored and setting at my computer browsing MP3.com looking for something interesting to listen too. Boy, did I find it! I stumbled across a guy named Martin Tallstrom from Sweden. This guy plays EVERYTHING!! Including a pedal steel... Before you get your hopes of hearing a bunch of pedal steel soloing up... DON'T! You won't hear any... However, he does play some tasteful fills. The magic is in this guys guitar playing and his vocals. According to what I've read, he plays all of the instruments and does all of the vocals (really tight harmony). As far as genre goes, I don't know where I'd put this guy. I would just call it good music! He covers a really wide range on the material listed at the site I've linked below. I have listened to every song on the site and have thouroughly enjoyed it all. What a breath of fresh air. Anyway, I thought some of the others on the site would enjoy it as I have.

Hmmm...different, but a lot of Clapton influence can be heard, and maybe even a little Jerry Reed! Image

I think this guy's great. He can certainly play the hell out of a guitar. The MP3 quality leaves a lot to be desired, though.
