I would have rather heard OZZY sing "Crazy Train" than endure the multiple fragmented sentences involving various combinations of the "F" word. Of course those words were "bleeped" out. I knew this was typical for the Osbournes but I figured for the awards show they might be able to pull it together. Not surprised I guess.
I endured it for awhile hoping my eight year old daughter would'nt pick up on it. (Naive? Maybe?). Ironically, during a rap act while the "rap artist" (term used very loosely) was acting out his explicit lyrics a big letter "G" flashed up on the corner of the TV screen apparently reminding us that this show was rated "G" for general audiences. How about "G" for GROSS! That's when the channel got turned and the little one's sent to bed.
I like music of most genres but there is a limit to what I can stomach sometimes. Overall was the show entertaining and interesting? probably. Was it worthwhile? No.
Oh well, it's just my two Canadian cents worth. I ended up watching a Bryan Adams concert on CBC televised from (Ireland?).
Now that was worthwhile!
