Texas Swing lyrics help

I managed to scrounge up a tape that Steve Wilkinson (of The Wilkinsons) made back in about 1992. On this tape are 8 songs, none of which I recognize.

There are two, in particular, that I really like. Both are what I'd call "Texas Swing" in style.

I'm trying to figure out who wrote them, or if anybody's ever heard of them.

The first is called "No Smokin' On The Dance Floor".

The second is called "I Refuse To Play A Two-Step Anymore".

I found a reference using Google to the second song. It's on somebody's album in 1997. I've never heard of the artist, though. The songwriter isn't mentioned.
