Anyone heard Kim Richey's new cd?
I've like here previous work and was wondering if anyone had a review of her new cd.

I listened to it.
She's a great song-writer, singer and person but on just one listen, I still like her first and second albums better.
I'm going to buy it though as her 3rd album grew on me after repeated listenings.
I don't think she received the recognition and success she so rightly deserved from the (alt) country community and so may have decided to try a more "pop" than "country" sound.
But then again, she's so talented, creative and intelligent that she may have simply wanted to try new or different studio sounds, song formats and instrumentation.
Regardless, she's a musical treasure!
