I read in this mornings paper that Mack has passed away at age 74. Mack was a great fiddler and an outstanding showman. RIP

Mack was a hell of an entertainer. I had the pleasure of working,one time,on the same show w/ him,when he was w/ Porter. He'll be missed. Here's the obit.

Mac was a showman, that's for sure. He's from my hometown, he and Don Reno used to come see my dad, before I knew what music was. I know lots of Mac's relatives, and of course, his friends. Mac's health had been on the downhill side for the last several years, now he's resting. May God bless and comfort his family.
