These guitars were designed and made by Leo Fender whle he was still associated with the Music Man company. They are arguably the best guitars Mr. Fender ever made. They have active electronics, and are incredibly loud and bright, and have all the snap of a hot single coil pickup with no hum.

I'd grab this one in a second if I didn't already have one. Somebody here should.

I have a Musicman Stingray 2, that I bought in 77. It has tone for days. I've had Red Volkaert play it a couple of times when he was up in Edmonton and it was a joy to behold.

That Bridge is very Similar to the G&L ASAT Special Bridge/Tail Piece. Leo must have taken that idea to G&L when he started that company.
