Vienna New Year's Concert

Post by Walter Stettner »

Let me wish everybody on the Forum, our hosts, all members and visitors, your family and friends and good and prosperous year 2004!

As we say in Austria:

Prosit Neujahr!

One of the biggest musical traditions we have in Vienna is the New Year's Concert by the famous Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. I live only 15 minutes walking distance away from the concert hall, so it is very special to me!

I think this concert is broadcasted in over 150 countries worldwide, so if you have a chance to watch, let some classical music give you a good start into the new year!

Happy New Year, Walter

Herr Konductor had himself one heck of a big orchestra too
impressive !
well back to duos, trios, and sextets fer me..
Happy New Year
