Poor Side Of Town
A while back this great Johnny River's song
came up here, because 2 great artists had redone it.
Not only was the steeler wished to be known,
but also, who was that great female singer?
I went searching, and still am.
Please help.
Let me know both, if you will.
Thanks....

Thank you Bob H and Richard B.
Johnny's version was without equal. Back then, a lot of us liked the song, cuz we liked Johnny Rivers. But, then some of us realized, gosh, there's a real message of sorts here.
And for the anti-hero, Laura, to come back with a truly tear-jerker rendition (and the great steel, as well)----GHEEZ.....
What can you say? I was truly moved by her great rendition. The beautiful steel played a big part in this song; and so did Laura's sultry vocals.
A beautiful mysogony? Is that the right term?
Oh well....thanks again fellas
